She commenced her career in the publishing industry, where she played a vital role in creating and art directing magazines and publications covering diverse fields such as culture, retail, lifestyle, business, and technology.
Maysa's career evolution led her to explore various facets of design production, including web and application design, before venturing into the dynamic advertising industry. Here, her focus shifted towards cultivating client relationships and addressing their specific needs while capitalizing on their brand identities.
Notably, she also brought her creative expertise to the international agency, Wunderman, which is part of the prestigious WPP group. There, she further honed her skills and made significant contributions to the global advertising landscape.
Subsequently, Maysa's professional path led her to the arts and culture sector, specifically at Louvre Abu Dhabi. Driven by her passion for this realm, she pursued a master's degree in Arts and Cultural Management. Her academic journey delved into essential topics such as audience studies, participation, representation, place-making, funding and revenue generation, sustainability in the arts and culture, and branding for cultural institutions. Her thesis research centered on the critical aspect of branding for cultural institutions expanding into foreign spaces.
During her tenure at Louvre Abu Dhabi, Maysa played a pivotal role in developing the museum's brand identity as well as its marketing campaigns, from conceptualization to visual realization. Her trilingual skills, encompassing Arabic, English, and French, proved indispensable in her role as a designer for an institution that catered to a diverse, international audience.
Since the museum's inauguration in 2017, Maysa has been at the forefront of art directing marketing campaigns for major exhibitions, as well as brand campaigns. Her contributions have propelled the Louvre Abu Dhabi brand forward and fortified its visual identity, thanks to the collaboration of many creative minds.

She has been a driving force in intensive design programs in collaboration with the Goethe Institute in Iraq over the past few years, developing training curricula based on creative pedagogical methods for young designers and artists.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, she is also a visual artist who describes her creations as "Images of the Psyche." Her artistic inspiration draws from a diverse well, incorporating the profound influence of poets and literary works alongside the unique tapestry of her own reality and life experiences. This amalgamation results in a body of work that is distinctly her own, reflecting a synthesis of external influences and an introspective exploration of her individual existence.
Maysa's journey is marked by a commitment to pushing boundaries and fostering innovation, both in her creative work and her contributions to the arts and cultural landscape.
